A small but detailed map of County Durham, in the seventeenth century. A copperplate engraving with hand coloured borders, a cartouche and scale top right. The map has been used in "England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland Described and Abridged... " by John Speed, published in London.

Foxing from age, otherwise good condition.
